The suffixes -ian
and -ion
The suffixes -ian and -ion are
common endings added to many words. These suffixes do not follow any particular
rule. They are added to nouns (words that name a person, a place, or a thing).
Accordion, sensation, and physician are words with the suffix endings -Ian and
-ion. |
