Most sentences end with a dot (.) called a period.  Questions end with a question mark (?)  Sentences that show excitement end with an exclamation mark. (!)  Place a period, a question mark, or an exclamation mark at the end of each sentence in the story below.

Once upon a time, a boy and girl lived in the city with their family  The girl loved to ride her bike  Each day she asked, "Can I ride my bike"  "Yes," said Mom  "Great"  said the girl  She rode her bike all over town  The boy loved to skate  "Can I skate into town" he asked his Dad   "Yes,  you may skate into town," said Dad
"Cool
"  said the boy  The boy skated all day
