11. bottomless 1.  without a bottom.  2. so deep that the bottom cannot be reached; extremely deep:  the bottomless depths of the sea.
12. difficult hard to do or understand:  Geometry is difficult for some people.
13. command 1.  an order:  The dog won't move until a command is given.  2.  give an order to:  The king commanded his soldiers to halt.
14. ribbon 1.  a long strip or band of cloth.  Ribbons are often silk or velvet.  2.  anything like a ribbon.
15. fossil 1.  the hardened remains or traces of an animal or plant of a former age.  Fossils of ferns are found in coal.  2.  forming a fossil; of the nature of a fossil:  the fossil remains of a dinosaur.  3.  a very old-fashioned person with out-of-date ideas.
16. classmate a member of the same class in school.
17. village a community, usually smaller than a town.
18. spaghetti a food made of flour and water rolled into long, thin sticks or strings.
19. stiff 1.  not easily bent:  New shoes are often stiff. 2.  hard to more:  The old hinges on this trunk are stiff.  3. firm: the frosting is stiff enough to spread.
20. supply 1.  provide (what is lacking); furnish:  Many cities supply books for children in school.  2.  quantity ready for use; stock; store: The school gets its supplies of books, paper, pencils, and chalk from the city.
