Definition: human speech, spoken or written.

Definition: a soft pillow or pad for a bed or chair, used to sit, lie, or kneel on.
 
9. We have two  at our school.
Definition: a person who has been trained to work in a library.
 
10. Five  grew in our garden.
Definition: a large fruit, with lots of juice, that grows on a vine.
 
11. We have two  in our band.
Definition: a musical instrument that you play by blowing into it and pressing keys.
 
12 The  met to talk about religion.
Definition: a person whose work is to help the people who go to his or her church.
 
13. All the  were used during the fire.
Definition: an iron pipe going up from a water main to the street above.
 
14. Two  were used to cook breakfast.
Definition: an appliance that browns bread.
 
15. We dug the quartz and feldspar  from the ground
Definition: material dug from the earth.  Anything on earth that is not a plant or an animal.
 
16. The girls carried  in their arms.
Definition: a container made of dry grass or strips of wood woven together.
 
17. We ate  at Christmas.
Definition: a large nut.
 
18. Three  ran around in the cage.
Definition: an animal somewhat like a mouse, but larger.

Definition: the act of telling where to go or how to do.
 
20. Five  happen at the corner every year.
Definition: something bad or unlucky that happens.
