3-2 Spelling Tip

6. oh a word used to express surprise, joy, pain, and other feelings:  Oh, dear me!  Oh!  Joy!
7. produce 1.  make; cause; bring into being.  This factory produces machines.  Cows produce milk.  2.  bring out; show:  Our class produced a newspaper.
8. known 1.  tell apart from others:   How many kinds of people have you known?  2.  have the facts about; be skilled in:  He has known his math well for years. 
9. ago 1.  gone by; past:  I saw him two weeks ago.   2.  in the past:  Long ago people lived in caves.
10. force 1. power; being strong.  2.  power used against someone:  They took the dog out of the car by force.  3.  make a person act against his/her will:  Don't force me to tell.  4.  break through:  We forced open a door that was locked.
