You know that water comes in three kinds
of matter: as a solid, a liquid or a gas. Ice is the solid
form of water. Some examples of water as ice are ice cubes
and the ice rink where you ice skate. Steam is the gas form of
water. An example of steam is when water boils. Water in the form of a liquid is found in rivers, lakes and
oceans. We drink water. We swim and fish in
water. These are examples of water in the liquid form.
Water is still water no matter what form
it is in. Did you know that almost two-thirds of the surface
of the earth is covered by water? That's a lot of
water!
