The First Day of School

Today is the first day of school.

Mom and Dad wake me up and say, "Get ready!"

I eat breakfast with Mom and Dad.

We get in the car and they take me to school.

I walk into school.

There are many boys and girls.

Some are happy and some are crying.

I do not cry.

I take everything out of my backpack and put it away.

My teacher is nice.

The other boys and girls are nice too!

We sing songs and play games.

We drink our milk.

We have a lot of fun and learn many new things.

It is time to go home.

I had fun at my first day of school!

I ride the bus to school.

 

Some boys and girls are crying at school.

 

I bring my backpack with me.

 

We play games and sing songs outside.
