The Nest
I saw a nest up in the big tree.
Dad asked, "Would you like to look at the nest?"
He got a big ladder and I climbed up.
I looked inside the nest.
There were four blue eggs.
Dad said, "Come down now."
I looked at the nest every day.
I watched the mother bird fly to it every day.
One day I saw little heads peeking out!
Four little heads were peeking out!
I watched the baby birds every day.
One day soon they will fly away!
