The School Bus
I ride the school bus to school every day.
The bus is big and yellow.
It has many green seats.
Many other children ride with me too.
My best friends Seth and Mike sit in the same seat with me.
The bus driver is very nice.
Her name is Jan.
It is her job to pick up children and bring them to school.
She does a very good job.
She stops at every bus stop, opens the door, and says
"Good Morning".
Jan always has a smile on her face.
On the way to school we talk and laugh with our friends.
The ride to school goes very fast!
Soon we are in front of school.
The bus door opens and we say good bye to Jan.
We walk down the steps, out the door, and wave to Jan.
"I'll be back at the end of the day," Jan says.
