A Trip to the Zoo
We went to the zoo on Sunday.
We had a lot of fun!
We saw many animals.
First we saw the lions.
There were two boy lions and three girl lions in a big cage.
We saw tigers too.
They looked just like very big cats.
They had black stripes.
The bears were fun to watch.
Some of them were sleeping and some were playing.
The white bears are called polar bears.
The monkeys were very, very funny to see!
They climbed trees.
They would hold on with their tails and swing from tree to
tree.
We counted about 50 monkeys in all!
There were many kinds.
Some were big and some were little.
Some were brown and some were black.
The zoo is a fun place to visit!
