A Little Brown Worm

I was in the garden with mom.

We were looking at all of the plants.

Then I saw it!

A little brown worm was looking at me.

I picked him up and showed mom.

It liked sitting on my hand.

I took it in the house and put it in a box.

I put the box in my room.

My little sister wanted to look at it.

She liked my little brown worm.

She put it on her hand and it went to sleep.

My big brother wanted to look at it too!

He wanted to take it fishing.

I said, "NO!"

Mom came into my bedroom.

She said I should put the little brown worm back in the garden.

"That is its home," she said.

So I walked out to the garden and put the little brown worm down.

It looked at me and smiled.

Answer "Yes" or "No"

My dad and I found a worm in the garden.

The worm I found was little and brown.

The worm liked to crawl up my arm.

I put the worm into a can.

My brother wanted to take the worm fishing.

I kept the worm in my sister's bedroom.

Mom said the worm's home was the garden.

I said the worm's home was my bedroom.

I saw the little brown worm cry.
