Possible Answer: I did not like the book. The kids were
mean to Ronald.
2. Why do you think Mr. Spano said everybody
could play baseball?
Possible Answer: He said that because he was a very kind
coach. He wanted to be fair to everybody.
3. Ronald's father helped him with baseball.
What is something your father has helped you with?
Possible Answer: My father helped me learn to ride my
bike. I could not balance by myself. I kept falling over and
skinning my knees. Dad would hold the bike just a little
bit. Then he would let go. I tried and tried. One day
dad let go and I could do it all by myself. I was very happy he
helped me.
4. Do you think Ronald Morgan will be a good
baseball player someday?
Possible Answer: I think Ronald will be a good baseball player
when he gets older. He hits the ball now because he opens his
eyes. He will get better and better.
