Decimal means based on the power of ten. In the decimal system,
the place values are based on groups of 10.
In the decimal system, whenever you have a group of 10 in a certain place value, we
write it as 1 in the next highest place value.
For example:
10 ONES equals 1 TEN or there are 10 ONES in 1 TEN.
And 10 TENS
equals 1 HUNDRED. And so forth.
