3-18 Writing a Good Paragraph

It's important to learn how to write a good paragraph. Look below to learn how to write a paragraph.

Topic sentence (Opening sentence)

A topic sentence tells what your paragraph will be about.

It is the first sentence.

Supporting sentences (3 or more)

Supporting sentences add details.

Each sentence is about your topic.

Ending sentence (Closing sentence)

This sentence closes your paragraph.

Restate your topic sentence or close it in another way.
